Yotaphone 2 YD201 or YD206 upgrade to Android 6.0.1 / Android M
What's new in this release
It's an official rom and it adds new yotamirror and yotasnap buttons next to the android buttons.
It also allows to run two normal apps in parallel, one on each screen. Useful for maps and chat for example.
Android M provides a new battery optimization system that suspends unused apps to save battery.
Upgrade process
Download:
- adb portable from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790

Put the phone in download mode (volume down + power on)
Run the following commands from the elevated command prompt:
C:\Users\n\Downloads\Yotaphone\minimal_adb_fastboot_1.4.1_portable>fastboot oem unlock < waiting for any device > ... (bootloader) Please check on Front Screen (bootloader) Rebooting to do unlock,please wait! Restart in recovery (now it´s TWRP) by pressing volume up + power up
Make a backup of you system, boot and efs
Restart phone to normal
Copy the file MMB29M.6.0.1-RU1.1.28.zip from https://yadi.sk/d/OZV_lr7x34kkFE decompress it and copy the folder 2016-12-24--11-23-00_MMB29M.6.0.1-RU1.1.28 to /sdcard/TWRD/BACKUPS/YOUR_ID/2016-12-24--11-23-00_MMB29M.6.0.1-RU1.1.28/

Restart in recovery (now it´s TWRP) by pressing volume up + power up
Restore the backup 2016-12-24--11-23-00_MMB29M.6.0.1-RU1.1.28
Wipe (factory reset)
Restart to normal, it takes more than 10 minutes to boot
Copy the file SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815.zip (TWRP / FlashFire installable ZIP) from https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/supersu/download/zip/SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815.zip or latest http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/stable-2016-09-01supersu-v2-78-release-t3452703 to the /sdcard/
Restart in recovery (now it´s TWRP) by pressing volume up + power up
Install zip and select SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815.zip
Reboot to normal
